Dimvo is an independent engineering-software project developed in the Netherlands for machinists, manufacturing engineers and small machine shops.
Remove the lookup
A useful tool supplies a missing reference value or engineering step. It should not ask for four values merely to repeat a conclusion the user already knows.
Keep answers free
Individual calculations work without an account. Future paid products focus on repeat workflow: saved shop knowledge, batch work, reports and CAD/API connections.
Separate evidence
Independent equations, planning profiles, standards references, user inputs and shop-proven data are labelled separately. Unknown inputs are not disguised as authority.
State the limit
Every method shows its equation, assumptions, version and review state. Safety-critical and contractual work still requires the controlled drawing, authorized source and professional judgement.
