Before quoting
Review incoming geometry before estimating the process.
Check the part envelope and recognized features, then identify questions that need a closer review before estimating time and cost.
Example analysis · clean-room STEP fixture
Inspect the part in Overview.
Recorded output from the real Dimvo engine, using the same synthetic blind-hole block in all three workflows. The example consumes no analysis allowance. Suggested modes: Overview, Geometry and Features.
What to review and why it matters
Check the part envelope
Use Overview and Geometry to inspect dimensions, volume and topology. Check that the model represents the part you have been asked to quote.
Inspect recognized holes
Open Features and hover or pin the blind hole. Review its dimensions and linked faces alongside the drawing's tolerances and finish requirements.
Record the questions behind the estimate
Use the evidence to frame stock, access and process questions. Enter your own rates and times in the quote calculator; the analysis does not estimate cycle time.
The useful output is a clearer first review for the estimator, before committing to a detailed process and price.
